The glass artist Vibeke
Skov is born in Odense Denmark in 1954. She lives and works in Søhuset
at Engelsholm Castle. She has a glassgallery in Søhuset.
1982 : Educated in psychology from university of Aarhus DK.
1986 : Established The Institute of arttherapy in Denmark.
1986 and 1993 : Author of 2 books about arttherapy and spiritual
development.
Selftaught painter.
1993 : Started to make coldglass, tecnical skills from Else Willumsgaard
Kbh, and Detlef Tanz Germany.
Have exhibited many places in Denmark, also in Holland
and Norway. See here

On this homepage I will show examples of my work with glass and
painting.
I work for private as well as companies.
I am working with coldglass, which I sometimes combine with other
materials such as fiberbeton and iron.
In 2002 I bought my house called the seahouse, and have rebuilt
it many times, so it has become a project in itself. I think it
is fun to use the glass inside and outside the house in many different
ways. During the weekends it functions as a gallery, where people
can see the glass and the studios.
I find inspiration in mythology, fantasy and dreams, and when I
make bigger things as ex. the walls in my garden I need the stories
to hold it all together. At the moment and until august I am creating
vikingboats with stories from the Nordic mythology.
I work only with glass from the Bullseye company in Oregon, and
Artista from Germany.
On my homepage I now also show examples of my paintings, which I
have started to make again after many years of glass domination.
