Møgelkær

The glasswork for this prison church was made together with some of the inmates, who also did all the ironwork.

The kneeling object was made by some of the prisoner, who came to my studio for some days.
We worked from the story of Jonas in the whale.
They all did one image from that story.
They also made all the lamps on the wall from their imagination of Christ.

The object for babtism show different images from the child-Christ relationship.
The big cross behind the alter show images from the life,death and resurrection of Christ.
The alter show the text “prisoner sings in the jailhouse” from the bible.
The speech-table show the tree of life with the snake and bird as representatives for the instinctive and the spiritual.
The lamp in the ceiling show figures moving towards the center of the cross.
